Presentation to Torbay Hospital

We had the greatest pleasure of presenting the Mary Delve unit in Torbay Hospital with items on their “wish list” that will enhance their bereavement suite on this busy maternity unit, helping support families who suffer from a stillbirth or premature death of a baby. We connected with the midwives at Torbay Hospital led by Anna Stewart, Midwife, Delivery Suite Co-ordinator and bereavement lead and Jenny Hill, Midwife, they saw the need for alternative items that would enhance the suite and make it homier and gave the charity a “wish list” of items they have always wanted.  The donation included

Sponsored Skydive 2016

October 2016 saw our Treasurer Sharon along with the brave Matthew Richards take to the skies to complete a sponsored 15,000 ft tandem skydive with the fabulous team at “Skydive Buzz” from Dunkeswell airfield.  Falling for approximately 2 miles at 120mph from the plane until the shoot opens and gently glides you back to earth! But still managed the thumbs up for the camera on the way! Raising more than £900 for our valuable cause which can pay for 20 midwives to be trained in our bespoke grief training programme designed by CFG plus other items required by our local

Fosters Fund 2017

We would like to say a big thank you to Fosters Fund for awarding us £1000! This was fantastic news. Fosters Fund is a charitable fund established by local MP Kevin Foster and specifically supports charities and community projects within the Torbay constituency. We are very grateful for the award. Our lovely Keely went to Kevin’s constituency office in East Street on Friday 14th July 2017 to collect the cheque on behalf of the charity. Kevin has been a great supporter of ours attending The Angels Ball in April but more about that later!

Although this is a terribly sad
